Holt Central was an acedemic breakthrough, It steered my in the positive direction to better myself. The teachers at Holt Central are absolutely amazing. They inspired me to become somebody, and to fulfill my dreams. I would reccomend any student, especially those who have felt unwanted in a large high school, to choose Holt Central!

Holt Central is a very good school to go to. I've gone there for three years now and it's been nothing but good to me. I've learned a lot of things here and I am going to be graduating here soon. The teachers are wonderful, they will help you if you ask for their help. And they are like a family to me. I know when I graduate I will miss them and everyone of my friends, I will probably be there more when I graduate than I am now.

Holt is overrated. As a former student for 9 years I know the district. I would rarely have homework. Holt has many issues in their administration and are way to strict. Holt need to focus more on academics. Due to their lack of focus on academics I'm now struggling at my new school and have fallen from being a A student at Holt to be a C student. Holt would be great if they rid of the administration problems and focused more on academics.

Holt Schools are not a bad place. just because 85% of the school is whites does not mean anything. Holt is a top 'school of choice'. Holt has had many rewards for its education. The percent of whites verus other races is not a matter of rather the school is good or bad. Race should not be a decision maker in rather something is good or bad, especially about a Highs School. Holt High School has had many students earn high scores on the MEAP. If Holt High School was such a bad school then why is it one of the top 'school of choice' schools in the area?. Holt has many students dedicated to the school and what it is about, including the sports.

Holt schools are not very good. Tom Davis, the super, is terrible at his job. In the 2003 MEAP scores Holt was the second worst school in mid-Michigan. Only Intercity Detroit schools are worse. Do you want to know how badly Holt is? Holt is over 85% white and the residents pay some of the highest taxes in mid-Michigan. Holt school system has one of the largest building programs in the state. However, it's not uncommon to see kids without books. 80 million was spent on school improvements. Less than 100,000 was spent on new books in Fiscal 2003. Parents, avoid Holt schools if you care about your kids education.
