I love this school system. The teachers are great for the most part. I just wish they communicated withthe parents more.

I don't know why all these other students are saying that they did not get a grand education from Tri County. I happend to have gone there all my life and am now in a great college and doing great! I owe everything to the staff at TC. In elementry the teachers are always caring, and that goes onto the upper elementry. I never once thought that I was being robed of my education or that the teachers don't care. Throughout all of my highschool career, I took the opportunites offered. Tri County PAYS for duel enrollment, has tutoring classes, and plenty of opportunities to do ones best. It is a small school, and to the people who do not think the teachers give a rip about them, I would like to see them try to deal with students whose goals are to do the bare minumum.

I am a current student at TCHS and I would not recommend this school to anyone. There is not a lot of student/teacher involvement. I have only learned from one teacher at this school and thats Mr.Wilson. He has taught me that not giving up is the greatest thing you could do. Any of the other teachers really dont care. And about the grant that we're getting at our school.... they're going to build a new football stadium with it? That is the most obsurd thing I have EVER heard. Why dont you spend money on a team that actually wins something and makes our school look good like the Softball team. That is the only reason I am at Tri County is because our softball team does good.

I would not recomend Tri County Area schools to any parent who wishes their childrens minds to be culitvated into something better. The main curriculum circles around an attitude towards not going to college. Rather than develop young promising individuals for tomorrow's society, Tri County Highschool nutures the idea of not going to college, and allows the min. requirement for class to be based on this idea. Only one foreign language is offered. Teahers seem not to care whether you get the information more that you'll be leaving their class next year. The school needs great improvement as no great individual may come from here as the school does not discipline these children into believing they can be all they want to be.

i am a parent of 4 students in this district. i have been very impressed with the teachers and the overall learning experiance. extracurricular activities are average. the parent involvement (from my view point) is wonderful. my children used to attend grand rapids public and the difference is amazing. hardly anyone seems to care about their childrens education there. here i have to wait hours to see my childrens teachers at conf. the down fall is the support staff. i am appauld at how rood they are. otherwise if you consider your options i rate this school with a B.

I am not a parent, however, i am a current sophomore at this establishment. I would not recomend tri county district to any given parent that likes thier child to have morals in life. However, if you must have your child attend this district, recomend Mr. Dummer as an english teacher. He is the most capable educator i have met, while attending this school my whole life, he makes class fun, litterally. also on a scale of one through ten, i feel principal leader ship at this school is a one -Mark Williams, Class 2007 (should be 2005, just to give you an idea.)

As a former student of Tri County, and as an educator now, I would like to recommend Tri County High School. I would not recommend the surrounding towns for a desirable place to live, but the school is a small country school with a wonderful principal, Pete Haynes. Wonderful teachers such as Grannis, Dummer and Urich. However, the younger teachers there were a downfall. If you are looking for a quaint, agriculturally based school, you have found your match!

I am also not a parent, but a senior at Tri County High School this year. And I have to disagree with the prior two reviews of my school. Tri County is a wonderful place to get an education and I appreciate the new teachers who try to engage us in the classroom, as well as the older teachers. When I graduate from Tri County it will be as a young woman ready for the real world, who looks back on my high school experiance as an awesome one.

Im not a parent of a student at tri county but I graduated from it in 2004. I would like to say that since the recent retirement of all the good older teachers tri county has been taken over by the younger teachers who themselves act like one of the students. There is no structure in that school anymore. I had to do 14 pages of work plus come in after school for an extra credit soccer game for spanish class just to get 2 percent points. And there when i was there no school spirit no one gave a care about any school function. overall tri county is going down hill and i seriously wouldnt recommend attending this fine astablishment.

I am not a parent of someone who attended this school. I graduated from it two years ago. I would not recommend this school to anyone. I had many teachers that were incapable of doing their job. I graduated 8th in my class, but with no help from the people who were supposed to be teaching. There were two teachers in this entire school who I actually learned from. Howard Wilson, the band director, and Vic Urich, the retired Psychology/American History teacher. When I started my Freshman year of college, I would be told by the professor that some of the things that were being covered, we should have learned in High School. I didn't, and I was one of the people who actually paid attention in school.
