Cascades School

i love this school they are great with my son, and he has learned alot....he will be spending the rest of his time at cascades untill there grade dont take him anymore

This school is a nightmare. I think it's hysterical that a previous review recommends how good they are with special needs. The principal called me in late April to disccus something that had happened to my son that day (he had been hit by another student) He said to me "while I was speaking to him I felt like something else might be going on here, have you considered having him evaluated for something?" Buddy he has an IEP for autism in your building and has all year. The principal didn't know -- or bother to check before suggesting I have him tested. Then he was stabbed in the back with a nail on the playground and both he and the other little girl were "talked to" and that is all. Oh yes -- did I mention he learned absolutely NOTHING all year? What about the MANY times I was in the building during the day to help out, etc. and could hear the teachers (one in particular) SCREAMING at the kids (first graders)?

The teachers are great, they work so well with kids that have special needs, they are truly concerned with the welfare of the kids there. The principal is wonderful and does everything he can to better the lives of the kids and their families. There are so many opportunities at Cascades school. It's a wonderful place for young kids to go to school

Our kindergartener has gotten a wonderful start at Cascades School. The staff is excellent and I am very impressed. He has learned to read effectively and is exploring his world. I would highley recommend this wonderful public school to anyone.
