We are so very proud to have a child in this wonderful school. Jenison's educational standards are high and Bursley is the best in the district. The staff is caring and works hard to provide the best for all of their students. The art and music programs offered are excellent. Homework, depending on your child's teacher, can be a bit overwhelming, but, in the end, your child will be the winner and it will reflect in their grades on standardized testing. Our child is very challenged academically and we know that Bursley offers the best public education possible. Visit a school in Grand Rapids or another school in a smaller comparable district and then visit Bursley School in Jenison. The difference in standards is obvious. We are proud to say that we have the largest parent club in the district among elementary schools and all of our parents work together.
