The school itself is warm, and opened. The Principle on the other hand is severely lacking the knowledge or capability of running any size school. On the outside he is warm and friendly and on the inside is closed, and selfish. He attends to the basic needs and avoids going the extra mile at all cost.

Green Meadow is so warm and friendly, many consider it an extension of home. Everyone says hello, everyone smiles, and everyone's quick to offer help. Staff and families know each other well. Together, the staff and families concentrate on respect, responsibility, and safety. We have high expectations and are always focused on what is best for our kids. The staff diligently works on best practice strategies that are truly visible throughout the school walls, at functions, and in watching daily activities. They also provide a great deal of useful parent education opportunities in the areas of parenting and academics that have been overcrowded with success. It seems that families who have reluctantly left GM, have always found their way back. Green Meadow's more than a school. It's a family, where together we're learning and together we're raising our kids to become successful individuals.

At Green Meadow, our experience seemed good on the surface level, until our student was later promoted to the next grade at NEMS. It was here that we found our student barely able to cope, with a very sub-par reading capability. We're looking at our alternatives, other than the Comstock Public School system. Needless to say, this will bring about an additional expenditure of time and money. What a shame.

This school is full of teachers who have the best interest of children in mind and at heart. They go the extra mile to ensure that each child reaches his/her fullest potential-academically, socially, and emotionally. The small school atmosphere makes it a warm, caring, and approachable environment.

I have two children at Green Meadow Elementary and feel that the level of education there is on par with any of our public schools. The teachers, in my experience, are highly skilled and challenge the children at all levels. It is wonderful that Green Meadow is able to have music and art education as well as the basics.
