We were new to this school district this year 2007-2008, and I have been very pleased with all the staff at Birch Street Elementary. I have 2 third grade students and 1 second grade student. Both teachers were very kind, caring and good solid teachers. Both cared about my children, as well as taking an interest in making sure they were comfortable to thier new environment. The office staff are kind, knowledgable and helpful, as well as the principle, who takes time to listen to concerns and help correct any problems that might arise. They also have a school Social Worker on staff who is a very big assest. My children especially enjoyed all of the music, art and gym classes, as well as library day. The only negative is the lack of computer education, which I think is going to be rememdied this summer...Birch Street Elementary is a great school!
