I attend Kingston High School as a Junior, I've been to 12 different schools and his is -by far- the best school I've ever been to. Disipline enforced by Mr. Mclaughlin is adequate and depends on the crimes. Teachers here are highly qualified to do their jobs ,with the exception of Mr. Fields who just started. I love this school, and you should send your child to it. There's a minimal drama level, no real fights, and drugs are lower then most schools.

Yes, kingston is good in sports. But what does that do for the class room. Just because we can preform on the court dosen't mean we can preform in the class rooms. The teachers need to push us more and maybe we will try. Take it from me a student. I'm a senior but yet the teachers still say 'well i don't care if you don't do your work, less for me to grade.' They should care. We are the future.

Overall the school is very sports oriented. They promote going to college, but don't offer many college prep classes. Variety of classes is very poor, their reason is small school. Descipline is poorly structured, with suspensions being popular. The school needs to look at their purpose and goals for the student, not at how they look in the sports ratings. The school could offer more, it is sad it doesn't.
