And then the cops continued to say she was wrong there wasnt any emergency and the school pulled the alarm twicewhen The kids know who did it And the security was Laughing at her When the officer Was talking to her Very innapropriate ! And the kids were Physically Abusing the Staff by " jumping " the computer teacher And the other security guard a big Man snatched up a Little girl like super skinny ! and left a mark on her hand a scratch mark and the Parents want to take her to the emergency room ! this school is highly chaotic the Staff would rather suspend The children then Deal with the Issue ! they have to much power they treat our children like they have no voice . They yelled at them that theyre not talkin To kids or parents ! To be honest they just dont care !

i have had an honor roll student that is now failing core classes. i have a student with mental disabilities that has been beat up and verbally abused by other students and the staff was no help. i have received accounts from faculty on stuff that has been done by and to my kids and the stories don't match(the staff have even said to me "they're{referring to other staff members} lying." No one ever knows what's going on. i can't wait until i am able to move away from this school!

Pattengill was the best school I ever attended. The faculty, was amazing! The basics, the best. Now, we never hear of health class- swimming-yes swimming--Pattengill had a pool, to teach swimming-- an athletic class/health class, amoungst the others-math/science/english...all wonderful teachers...and of course..there was Band Class...Oh my, the best ever!!! Mr. McCormick (Daniel) with all due respect, was the most amazing music leader/instructor/etc ever, he was simply amazing. His heart was in the music, I only wished I could'have stayed on and played my clarinet. With loving thoughts to all in that class--Best wishes for all. L. Dodos

I was a substitute teacher in this building and was treated with more disrespect here than any other school I have ever been to. The odd thing is, the students were the least of my problems. From a rude office staff that did not help me find anything to condescending teachers with poor sub plans, I hated every minute here. The students were surprisingly helpful and respectful (but you have to be firm) and the building was clean, well maintained, and new. It is too bad that the staff here is so inconsiderate, otherwise I would have given it a much higher rating.

Pattengill Middle School is a great school with lots of international students and a caring staff who do all they can to offer the best in education. The school and its staff are currently being trained in the International Baccalaurate philosophy. Check out the I.B. website for further information. I think you will be impressed with the program. The school is soon to be opening a Broadcasting class which is promised to be awesome. You can't find a better school to send your children to in my opinion. Yes, they do have a dress code that requires 'docker' style slacks and polo shirts that are to be tucked in. What's so bad about looking successful in a school environment? Gone are the issues between kids and their designer clothes and the great divide between the haves and the have-nots. This school is about getting the best education.
