Chaos. Complete chaos. Students pulling the fire alarm randomly, instructional time is not valued here.
I chose this school out of MANY in my area due to some very specific things I wanted to see- nice mix of children and families, friendly, open staff, responsive teachers. I have not been disappointed.
Winans is not supportive if you are not the Mother of the child. The teachers have been very exclusionary to other members of the family. It has been difficult.
I love this school. My sons first year was kindergarden. His teacher Mrs. Germain was great. She was very loving, and honest. I recommend this school. It is great.
Winans is a wonderful elementary. There is a lot of family involvment.
