C.K. Schickler Elementary School

This school has had various staff changes over the last few years. I was impressed by the teachers that they have at this school. The change over in administration and their lack of response to parents complaints about rude inappropriate staff have led me to actually take my child out of this school. This is a sad situation due to the fact that this is my first experience with Lapeer Schools and I bought a house in the neighborhood near the school. This has left me severely disappointed in the district and I am even contemplating moving so that I can have better schools.

My 8 year old daughter attends Schickler and she and I both love it. The entire staff there are great!

I love Schickler. They have worked very hard to make school fun and educational and my children have thrived there.

Not only did I go to school at schickler from grades k-6 but my daughter was in Mr. Patton's third grade class the last year he was at schickler. I would have to say this school has a staff that does truly care about their students and education. I was shocked to see that some of the same teachers were still there that I knew care about the students but was sad to see that some of those that I loved have retired! So for those who are looking to put their children in Schickler don't worry they will be in good hands and enjoy their time at this school!
