There are great teachers who inspire great future adults to contribute to their community. I am a 2004 grad of Lawrence High School and met my best friends and future wife there.
Lawrence is a genuine rare find by today standards. The teachers are good-natured people. the atmosphere is perfect for growing minds. There is a certain comraderieship amongst the student and a wonderful teacher -student reltaionship. Students have high goals. Since it wouldn't be considered an urban school there are a lot less cliques so that most students see each other as equals. I have been to many schools (7) and I like lawrence the best. The people are nice, my teachers and I see eye to eye, and my grades have risen considerably. My standards of a good school are quite high, and in my opinion statistics really don't matter that much. They don't really give a clear idea of what the school is like. I believe a school were your noticed for your persona is ten times better than a school that has high statistics or high GPA's.
