Teacher quality.......poor. Principal Leadership...... hes a good guy with a good heart but not a good leader. He cant handle issues properly. He won't punish his staff for their MANY mistakes. The school offers NO extra support/help. Parent involvement...........none......unless your a well known family.
Lawton is a small school. In my opinion this school provides no extra support for students. if your student struggles in a particular subject, good luck getting help! Teachers sometimes act like they are better than everyone else and Lawton even has high school teachers teaching middle school classes. The only recognized students are the ones that have never been in trouble, or come from a well known family name. Think twice before sending your children to Lawton!
This school is filled with drama and my child strongly dislikes it here. The teachers are not helpful and teach very fast. This school hands out homework every day. The rules here at this school is very strict, I do NOT reccomend this school... Go with Mattawan or Paw Paw.
