My son loves this school and is thriving. The kids seem to all have respect for each other and truly like each other. I have not seen one incident of bullying or even rudeness towards each other. The office staff is a little short with the parents sometimes, but I'm sure they have to put up with a lot from us concerned parents.

I admit that I have not had much luck with teachers and staff being friendly. I have not even seen any parent involvement in classrooms. The front office has been rude several times. But this years teacher shows complete dedication to her students/parents, which has made me rethink leaving. My sons first year was very challenging because of lack of teacher/parent communication. It was like parent opinion did not matter. She was right and I was wrong. But this years teacher discovered my sons potential on her own and then included me! It does matter how a teacher feels about a parent...because a child can be targeted! This school is strict...which can sometimes inhibit self thinking. But on the other hand some kids do really well under complete control. Even lunch time is ridged. I feel Central is stiff but, changing for the better every day! Happy kids== involved parents:)

The teachers and staff are unfriendly. There is a serious lack of communication between teachers and parents. And about once a month my child brings home some kind of fund raiser to sell. Even though I like the little city of Linden I will not be buying my next home in Linden because of their schools.

The environment and policies seem to exacerbate bullying. There is not enough communication between staff members. It is in my estimation a school that is very non-friendly toward parents. I would not recommend this school to anyone who cares about their child's safety and well being.

Central El. is wonderful place to learn. My son has loved all his teachers and aids. The entire staff is marvelous. I would recommend this school to anyone.
