Money is important. Can cause dilemmas. .Some of the younger teachers need to listen to students. If a student is respectful. The teachers that have been working for little pay,but want to lead by example are real leaders and respected.L.H.N. Has more quality education and is a fine school

As a veteran teacher and parent, I rate this school #1 in Macomb County in academics and school culture. Our son is now well prepared to compete at the university level. Thank you to the professional and dedicated staff at Lutheran High North!

As much as I fought tooth and nail with my parents about going to this school I can't thank them enough for sending me here. I learned so much about my faith and who I could be as a person. I was definitely prepared for college and am grateful every day that I was able to go here. From the sports (and I was in many) to the music and drama programs (yep, I was in those too) I always felt like God was ever present and that the faculty really wanted us to excell. While I am sad to see Dr. Buuck leave as principal there is no doubt in my mind that North will continue to be a great high school. I am and will always be proud to be a MUSTANG!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this school!!! I would go back in a heartbeat! Dr. Buuck (the principal) is absolutely amazing as well as the rest of the staff! They are very understanding, loving, & surround you with a Godly environment. I was very involved in sports and extracurricular. I also met my boyfriend of the past 6 years at this school. It is so nice to meet someone that you grow up with through those sometimes challenging teen years who is shaped with the same morals and values as you because of the school you attended. Chapel is an every day event & it is a good time to bring the school together to focus on the real reason we are here...to focus on our salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Do not worry if you are not Lutheran, you will still be treated with the utmost respect!

This is a great school. ACT scores are high. The principal is committed and fantastic. Loads of scholar-athletes (emphasis on the scholar). Some of the teachers have advanced degrees; one also teaches at the local community college. How refreshing after dealing with the Chippewa Valley School district.

There is a good chance this is in the top 3 intellectual schools per person in the state, and certainly the greatest in that manner in Macomb County. This is thanks to faculty devotion, giving up material reward for the student's sake.

This school offers moderate class sizes and a strong administration. The staff is invested in these kids. High academic standard, solid extra-curricular and strong athletics are bonuses - kindness and community are priority.

I graduated in 2000. I'm thankful for the quality, caring, loving Christian environment. Not only did I learn acedemics, I was way ahead of my peers in college. I gained much from the teacher-student relationships and Dr. Buuck is awesome principal and leader. Discipline was well enforced but also used to disciple students. Christian love was shown in a variety of ways and teachers took geniune interest in students. Teachers and principal know students by name. Teachers were interesting (for the most part) and provided great knowledge of the area they taught. Extracurricular activities abound in sports, music, drama and more. Parent involvement was very low, but teachers and staff make up for that hands down. Out of my graduating class of 135, over 90 some students got meap grants for college. I think 98% of my class went on to college.
