I love the staff here. I do wish there were more sports for them to play. I also would like sports in the school before 7th grade. I feel that the teachers stay on top of the students and let me know when mine are slipping.
Academic programs, fair. Teachers good. Support for kids who need extra help in learning is poor. The school lacks the finances and personnel to help the children who fall into the 'gray' or middle category. They help only those who they determine are severe enough to require help. Class size is too high, ratio 34(or more)students to 1 teacher. Lack of sports activities. This is mostly done through Manchester Community Ed or through other communities like Clinton. Parent involvement, little to none.
There are not very many extracurricular activities at manchester middle school, the teacher quality is high, there is some parental involvement, the principal gives Monday morning assemblys, and talks over the speakerphone to us every day with announcements. Overall, I'd say the quality of this school is good.
