I am part of the proud alumni from W.H.S. I hope if I ever have kids that this school will be available and as wonderful as when I attended. The staff treated us students as adults and family, and they went out of their way to make our education a fun experience. I am saddened by the death of our principal and the retirement of others. I hold this school and all of it's staff very close to my heart....you WILL NOT find a better place!
Windover High is a great place for any child who is having trouble in their public school. The teachers are great and very easy to get along with. Terrie (principal) is a very kind, understanding woman; willing to go out of her way to help anyone. I like to think of Windover as a family environment more than just a school. Windover is unlike any other school in a million ways. I would definatley recommend sending any child to Windover who is having trouble anywhere else. The teachers get to know you one on one and the help is never-ending. Even after you graduate from Windover, the teachers will still remember your name. I strongly recommend Windover to any 'struggling student'!!!
