I honestly don't know what Feb 2005 is talking about. All of my children have attended MSMS and I find their education superior to many in our ISD. Teachers are caring, motivated, professional, leaders, positive role models and at the lead of educational changes in the middle. School wide homework poicies and discipline policies helps them to succeed in all of their classes and in our community. All students deserve the chance to succeed should be their calling card!

This school believes 'the children are too poor for college' and they 'just train them for a trade'. There is no communication from the teachers. A 'D' is considered 'passing'. The chilren fight in school. They steal from each other and the staff does not report it to their superintendent much less police, giving the student a message to go ahead and steal from each other because we do nothing. The staff brags to the students about immoral behavior. There are favored students who are given good grades and make all the sports teams. The sports program does not teach team playing and skills, but promotes the little groups that are favored, and the teams are prepicked by popularity with the coach versus skills. There is no communication with the staff, their attitude is 'so, what do you want me to do about it?'. Avoid this school, it's a pattern!
