Heard bad things about this school, but my son is in 7th grade here and is doing very well! Strict but not oppressive. This school exists inside the highschool building now. There is plenty of technology and the teachers are excellent.

Mount Clemens Middle School has had many changes over the last three years. It is currently an IBO candidate school which means that the curriculum is advanced and challenging. All students take band, art, gym, technology, writing, and Spanish.

I just want to let parents know that Mount Clemens is advertising for school of choice and they list our district as a leader in technology. Parents should know there are NO computer classes at all in the middle school for 2 years in a row. This year there are 2 electives for the children gym or band. They say the kids come first, but it does not seem to be true.
