Fuller Street Elementary teachers and staff really impressed me with their time and energy they put into my son's class and individual attention. I am, however, very disappointed that certain teachers were laid off due to the "first in first out" policy they have. I do not believe anyone should be let go from a position based on amount of time on the job; unless all the teachers are equal (which most are likely not) in the results produced such as higher grade point averages, advancement, test scores and raising a student's ability to learn and retain information then I can see how this would be a fair option. Other than that I love the school and my son is looking forward to the coming school year.
