Lighthouse Elementary School

Seems to me the only "bullying" that goes on in this school is by the office staff. I was informed by some parents that if you don't "get in good" with the office staff, they make things very difficult for you.

Teachers are great! They go out of their way to help. Office staff/principal is something totally different. Different meaning not too good at all. Better off not talking to them if you can. Just deal with the teachers. It's your best bet.

My son just started attending Lighthouse this year. His teacher seems relatively good and interested in helping the students improve. However, I am concerned about all the comments regarding the school administration, as well as some of the other issues. I have not had substantial dealings with them yet, however, if there is an issue I want to help improve it. I am looking into getting the Watch D.O.G.S. Program started at Light house. If anyone else is interested in helping out with this initiative, please respond on this review board I will be checking it periodically.

With my children attending this school, I have to say I have had the privilege knowing some of the teachers. They are amazing and really take pride into teaching our children--AWSOME! But, the principal on the other hand, well he doesn't know how to communicate with the parents. And I strongly believe that this school needs to have some kind of bullying system or program! The children are our future!

Lighthouse has wonderful classrooms and teachers. The only problem our family has had- lies in the 'higher authority'. Mainly the principle and his secretary. Other than the office staff, Lighthouse has provided my children with an exceptional education, and offers many after school activities.
