Huron has come along way in improving the quality of our students' education. I have one student who graduate in '09 and another who will graduate in '12.Teachers are easy to communicate with and the administration is one of the most involved I have ever come across. I have worked in many Wayne County school systems and in every building within this district and can attest to their dedication. There is more to a school than a test score and I believe our schools prepare our children for life at college and beyond in the best way possible, they care!
My experience at Huron High School was great! Although it was 11 years ago, I think back and remember my favorite teachers and classes. I was in band and people may make fun of it, but to me it was a family.
We have a great sports program. Currently are boys varsity basketball time is undefeated. Most of our teachers are good and caring. If you attend here you should really try to get Mr. McGuire as a teacher, he is wonderful at his job. He teaches law, government, and AP Government.
I've been in the community for many years, and I have been really pleased with Huron High School. Teachers and administrators seem to genuinely care about their students. Graduates are definitely prepared for college and beyond, and the students attend some of the best colleges in the state (even nationally - Harvard included). I think this is a great school.
I am A Freshman this year at Huron and I love it so far. There are so many different electives and it's so different than Jr. High. I'm really looking forward to the next 3 and a half years at Huron. GO Chiefs!!!!
This year the school will be going to trimesters and we are getting a new principal, mr. rowe. Ahhh! so much change, but i think it will be a good thing because we get to choose a lot more things that we could last year. i think the only downside to this is that core classes mightbe seperated during the trimesters.this will be my second year at huron high and i hope it is great!
i have went to the school and i loved my teachers they were always there to help. They cared about the students. Its the students that i think didnt care about being in school. i was the class of 2004 and to me it didnt seem like muchus really cared to learn. i hope to have my kids go to huron high school when they get older.
This is a great school getting better every day.
This was our daughter's second year at Huron High. We have watched her mature into an active, well rounded young lady. There are numerous activities offered, and surprisingly enough our shy little girl has blossomed into an outgoing involved student. Her study habits have improved so dramatically, and her interest in science and math have astonished us. She enjoys the school, and we appreciate the communication with the teachers.
I curently attend Huron High School and I love it. The teachers are great, they actually take time out of thier day and will sit and talk to you if you have a problem. I am very close to the teachers. the classes are awsome also, there is such a wide selection of classes to choose from. I am very proud and honored to go to Huron High School.
