My son is going into fourth grade this year and he will be having Mr.Freeman. I have lived in Huron Township for almost 14 years. My daughter who is now 19 went to Miller from first to fifth grade. I loved the careing and safety of this school. Also, the teaching program they have now and then is awsome. I could never have picked a better elementary school for my children. All of the teachers my daughter had were great. Starting from first through fifth she had; Ms.Vangoss (aka Mrs.Webber), Ms.Mykeloff (aka Mrs. Whisler), Ms.Otter, Mr.Freeman, and Ms.Shroyer. My son who is now in fourth grade has had all the same teachers except for last year he Ms.Johnson. She was a wonderfull teacher also. I love this school. I also love the fact they have let me volunteer throughout both their times at Miller.

My son has been going to Miller since the 1st grade this year he is in the 5th. He is also austic- Miller has a wonderful program for these children- ALL the staff in school work with children- no child is left out-Regular kids are wonderful there has never been any teasing or bullying- Everyone works together for ALL the CHILDREN- not enough room to give a glowing report on each teacher and support staff Programs that Miller have are done correctly. this school has a very happy postive feel to it- trust me i know bad vibes from schools- PTO does wonderful job those parents deserve pats on back for work they do my only reget this is my sons last year here

Miller is an excellent school in regards to safety and education. Music, computers, gym, library, and language are just some of the classes the children have during the week. My daughter is now in 4th grade and I have been extremely happy with this school so far. My youngest starts first grade next year and I am confident that she will also get the education that she needs to succeed in life from Miller. Recommendation = A++++++++++++

I really love Miller my step daughter was going to Brown and she got lost in the system. They did not seem to care and her teacher was always saying I do have a room of 27 I can not always so her the attention she needs. So the next year we put her in Miller what a change ! They have a great staff and her teacher Mrs. Miles is wonderful!!!

Art is not taught at Miller however a foreign language is. In regards to art it must be taught as a multi-disciplinary field that interacts with other disciplines. As such, there are few teachers anywhere equipped to teach art as it should be art. Too often we confuse art with splashing colors on a piece of paper and confuse this with some type of creativity notion. Nothing could be further from the truth. I love Miller and its staff and its students.

My only real concern with this school is that they have 3 recesses and no art program. The principal is very attentive and responsive to situations. I had a 5th grader and a 1st grader there this year, we had moved from another district last summer and the change went very well. My son's teacher, Mrs. Marcero was terrific.

I can not say enough great things about Miller. The teachers are excellent, very involved with each child and their needs. Parent participation is always welcomed and is very high. I have two children at Miller and they both love it. I am actually moving out of the district next year and will drive my children the 25 minute drive just to continue their education at Miller. I highly recommend this school.

I have two daughters, ages 11 and 8. My oldest daughter went from first to fifth grade at Miller. I have a third grader who is enjoying Miller also. I can not say enough about the positive experiences our family has had at this school. I am honored and thrilled to be part of the Miller family. Thank you to everyone who has made this such a positive experience. Alice Brown
