My brothers, me, and all my bff's have b went to oscoda and its always been a school with your needs. If you wanted to join a sport theres variety of different things to do. You can express yourself in cheerleading and art, then kick it with soccer, batter it up in baseball, fight it out with wrestling, touchdown with football, and sing with choir. Plus much more i don't even know much about!

Our Daughter is an eight grade student and she has a lot of issues to deal with at that tough age. However, this year several incidents have upset me greatly. My daughter was punched in the face by another girl who received a one day In School Suspension (meaning she sat with the Principal) and then on the bus, she was choked by a High School Junior male student one day. He was given a one day out of school suspension. Meanwhile my daughter said the 'f' word in school and was suspended for 5 days. Pretty bizarre huh? What happened to Zero Tolerance on Violence? When i asked why this discrepancy in punishments i was told they couldnt discuss another students punishment with me. I responded this involves my daughter so it does involve us. But to no avail.

My opinion of this school is at an all time low. On Monday of this week instead of teaching my child or even telephoning me, they let my 9yr. old son spend his day with the janitor! What kind of an education is this I ask? Has anyone ever heard of the No Child Left Behind Law? I have and have every intention on making sure my son is not left behind for any reason. This school will needs to be held accountable for teaching. Not ignoring children! Now today my son scribbled and they called me, but not Monday, he cleaned with the janitor all day! What is this?
