Otsego Baptist Academy

Although OBA is a very small school with only 38 students enrolled it is very strong academically. The combined classes are great for the students who are average & above average that can pick up bits and pieces from the class above them. It is also great for those who may struggle, because they have more teacher face time, and the more advanced students assist them. It is very much like one big family. The tuition is much lower than the other private schools in our area, but you are giving up band and some sports. The administrator truly has a heart for our school and students. What a blessing this school has been to our family. We know that our students are receiving an excellent education with a firm faith-based foundation.

Parents, this school has been a huge blessing to my family. The faculty cares about the students and the curriculum has a strong bibilical base. This provides students with the traditional academic stucture with a Christian perspective. The families are close and care about one another as well. Parent involvement is high and parent teacher colaboration is present. Music, art, band, drama and many sports are available. The students have formed a strong sense of community and are building lifetime friendships. We are blessed with a new administrator this year and he is a wonderful person. As with all schools, there have been difficulties, However, Christ is worshiped, preached and loved at Otsego Baptist Academy. Students are protected from the exposure of worldly teaching, the tuition is fair and both of my children have excelled testing several grade levels above their level on standarized tests. OBA is a great school.
