Oxford Area Middle School

the administration is poor, they care more about apearances than your children. they get a A+ in sweeping thing under the rug. so it looks all shinny and pretty. school has bulling problems, drugs and drinking. it is in need of new leadership badly. But I wouldnt hold your breath on that one. the middle school is worst in district. the elementarys are good and so is high school. good luck if your kids in middle school your going to need it.

the elemantary school is very bad the pricibal is in responcible very bad and the middle school has alot of fights i will tell you the truth ur kids should never ever go their i went their the pricibal is super mean and she kept telling me to stop spazing out shes HORRIBLE

This is a great school. The staff is warm and welcoming and there are so many programs and extracurricular activities to participate in. They really try to make it enjoyable for the kids

Middle school is the most difficult time for our children. Oxford tries to lesson this by providing support, team concepts, and fun! It is a great school going in a positive direction. I wish middle school was like that when I was growing up

In oxford middle school there is alot of drugs and now we have random drug searches because of it , also like most schools theres alot of drama but its very clickie . And if we dont do like one assignment we get a detention. Some of the teachers are cool but some are just like werid and its strict but they dont really care about swearing much .

This school mines a lot to me because I go there every day and you kid cold have great teacher that help you with every thing you need help with.

Oxford Middle School has a safty issue that needs to be addressed, when I have taken my concerns to the principles and to the districts school supertendant about these issues and all they do is ignore what the parent concerns are about and have no intention to make the schools safer they want to make the schools look pretty. At our childrens expence not to mention the tax payers expence with our bond issue for cosmetic building improvements, we need to put funding into a safe school setting as well as academics. and stop trying to look pretty. That is what matters most, keeping students safe and educated.

I have two children in this school, an 6th grader and an 8th grader. Both of them have had excellent teachers. I have found the administration to be responsive to questions and the overall learning environment to be excellent. The extracurricular programs are well organized, especially band and cross country. It's a very good school.

The school needs to get a handle on this zero tolerance. Kids are kids and they need to understand that and stop giving them detentions for the little things.
