Light of the World Academy

Both of my children have attended the school and LOVED it. My son had a list of learning issues and the director along with the teachers worked very closely with him for 7 years. He is a success 100% credited to them for love, support, encouragement (for both of us), and dedication to him. It was not an easy road for anyone involved. They enlisted people to assist educational therapist, eye therapy, OT, aides to read with him one on one, one volunteer worked with him one on one all day once a week. I just can't say enough about the school and each teacher

The Director and teachers are the most loving you would find at any school hands down. They teach because they love kids and love to teach. If money meant anything to them, they would not be teaching at a private school!! I have heard so many parents and children who have had to change to another school wish they could be back at Light of the World Academy "beacause it is such an awesome school"!! Our family has been fortunate to be a part of this school.

I read the previous review, and I couldn't disagree more with the assessment of the kindergarten and upper el. program. I have two children who have gone through the school, and our experience has been great in every respect. The staff is incredible, from the director to the teachers to the aides, and all the "extras" that Light of the World Academy offers make it even more special. Just ask any of the parents what they think about the school. Also, look at how many kids return year after year. If the kindergarten and upper-el. were that bad, the return rate wouldn't be as high as it is. People come from as far as 25 or 30 miles away just to send their kids here. Check it out for yourself.
