Herrington School

Our kid spent the first two weeks of school sitting around doing nothing while the teacher tried to get control of the class. We got her transferred to another teacher. Both teachers still struggle with discipline (6 months into the school year). Do not send your kids here if they are white. Charter school, home school, private school, move, whatever you have to do. Bullying is rampant. The principal will not address the issue and discipline the bullies. They just get a counselor for the kids getting bullied and leave it at that. They claimed to be an IB schools but they don't follow the IB curriculum or standards.

I would like to say that I have a son who is currently in the kindergarten. We have a new principal, Ms. Hogan who is doing a great job. She is visible and friendly. She has a lot of new ideas for the school. My son and I say that Herrington is the best school in Pontiac.

My son and daughter attended Herrington and its a wonderful school. The staff is one on one with the students and they just loved to go to school everyday
