It makes me sad to read some of horrible reveiws on Stuckey. I've had children in this school for the past 7 years and every year has been a wonderful experience! My son has needed special attention from time to time due to a minor learning disability, and has recieved every bit of help he needed by his very caring teachers. It is like a family here at Stuckey...like a piece of home! A far as the negative comment about the PTO, it seems parent involvement is very little there...and the parents that do all the complaining are the ones who never volunteer their time. There are a few very dedicated parents who have done their best to pull off huge events year after year with very little help. I've always felt welcomed by them! I will miss Stuckey when my children move on to Hilbert!!

Until the redistricing all of my children would have attended Stuckey for their primary education. That would have been great! My only issue is that I would like to see the buildings go back to the old set up of K-5.(This is more of a district issue) I have read the reviews of Stuckey and it upsets me. In all of the complaints overcrowding was the biggest.(Yet again, district issue) This is no longer a single school issue and we as parents need to be involved and pull together as a community to make the best of a less then desirable situation. The school itself is actually wonderful. The teachers are great and truly care for the children. In addition, when writing your reviews people should make sure they are giving acurate information. The playground equipment was not completely installed due to weather related issues.

My son has went to Stuckey since Kindegarten and is getting ready to enter the 5th grade. I have LOVED this school and the parent involvement it offers with the children. He has always had great teachers that throughout hardships in different years have went above and beyond to help my child, by giving him the attention he needed.

I have a 3rd grader at Stuckey currently. He has been there since kindergarten. I really haven't had any problems so far. I do agree that the restructuring of the district has made it a little more cramped. My child loves school so I am not having an education problem. I think that there after school care could be a little more organized. I think that as a full time working mom that the school could be a little more informative. I think that they need to due something about the PTO so that more parents would want to go to the meetings. It seems very clicky and unwelcoming.

My child has been attending Stuckey since kindergarten. Some of his teacher's have been good but for the most part they have not. The school is too small the classes too large. I do not see how any student can get a decent education. My child used to like school until this year now he gets so upset that he does not even want to come to school. His grades have been a reflection of this overcrowding. We are thinking about pulling him and placing him in a different school. This school is falling fast and I am not sure if the staff is just overwhelmed or just does not care but overall our experience has been less than favorable.
