Unless you golf with a board member run away fast. The culture of the school is one of nepotism, bullying and parents don't count. Kids can be beaten up with impunity. Unless they are connected to a family who counts. Adjacent districts benefit - one gets 25% of it's students from other districts, almost all of them from Chip Hills. My family has driven an extra 50 miles a day to take our kids elsewhere. Chip hills has lose 23 years of funding for our kids. Tried to deal with them again this summer. Culture has not changed. Special Ed? Notorious throughout the state as a "difficult" district. The have a very high home school, private school, out of district any escape possible population.

I find the teachers to be of high quality and interested in student achievement. The principal is not very personable, but seems to do a good job as a leadership figure. Parent involvement could be better, but more communication about what parents could do at the high school level would be helpful.

Poor class selection, so-so on most of the teachers. Poor help for students who struggle with school work.
