Our child is in Kindergarten; loves the teacher and has made considerable progress in math, reading and computer skills. The staff as far as teachers is wonderful. Most of the people in the office are helpful, but the principal should be replaced. We had many issues with enrollment and she was less than tactful when it came to a resolution. Additionally I had to initiate constant contact to ensure our child would be enrolled. Overall we will stay with this school district because it is one of the best around. A school cannot be rated because of one bad apple.

Very mixed experience here. Overall I find the staff to be fairly negative in the way they manage their classroom. The principal was nearly worthless. I had several issues with materials and information getting home and was promised time and again that they would send materials to both parents, but it never happened. My son was placed in programs without my knowledge or consent. He still reads far above grade level. They finally admitted they used an inappropriate testing method, but never offered an apology. 32 kids in a kindergarten classroom was out of line . . . I never expected anything as lousy as what I got at Richland elementary. The negativity of some of the staff definitely tempered my son's enthusiasm for school. Talk about a lifelong lesson!
