This school is on the way out. Enrollment has dropped and there is nothing to attract students. Faculty is too old.

Gabriel Richard is the best school in the area. It has the highest Average MEAP scores and ACT scores. It prepares students for the challenges of college and life in general. Both my children graduated from GR and have gone on to great success in college. They both attend a major nationally ranked university and have made the Dean's List every semester. GR has prepared them well. As far as the disgruntled parents that have written reviews, I am sure their children would have had problems anywhere. The fact that the one parent was upset and wondered how 2 wrong out of 5 is a D, it isn't. Actually, it is a D-. 2 wrong out of 5 is 60% which equates to a D- at just about every school in the country. Possibly, the child's problem might be his parents. They definitely have a problem with math.

I am a student at Gabriel Richard. I am currently a senior, and I will be graduating this year. GR was the best thing that has ever happened to me. The teachers give you all the responsibility to do your own work, study, and prepare for class which prepares you for college. The grading is hard; I'm not going to lie about that. You have homework every night, but in the long run it is to benefit the student as much as possible. I am an average student at GR. I currently have a gpa of 3.16, but my ACT is a 26. 27 on math, 27 on science. These teachers prepare you for the real world. The school itself molds each student to be a respectful, mature adult. When talking with High School students in everyday conversation, you can tell the difference between a student who goes to Gabriel Richard and a student from anywhere else. Gabriel Richard is worth every single penny.

I'm disappointed. I was told it didn't matter if you were catholic or not, but not being catholic has become a big issue for my child at GR plus I think the grading system is too difficult. How can 2 wrong out of 5 be a D.

This is an amazing school! This school should serve as a role model for all High Schools. This is my sons second year at Gabriel Richards and I cannot express what an outstanding school it is. They have exceptional programs and college prep classes. The staff will work with students of all levels to help them reach their highest possible protential. My son has made great progress and I thank all the staff at Gabriel Richards.

GR helped prepare my son for college so much better than most schools. I heard him and a friend discussing this very point the other day. My son attends WSU and his friend CMU, and both said that GR prepared them for college and made college seem easy.

I'm a fairly reacent graduate and I couldn't be happier with the education that I received at Richard. I'm currently a student at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and I feel that my time at Richard prepared me well for the challenges I face here.

My third of four children has just graduated from Richard. This one is attending college like his older brother and sister did. His brother graduated from CMU, and his sister will in 2 years. I have enjoyed the school and the faculty over the years. They are dedicated to the students, and I feel that my children reflect the hard work of the community here at Richard. I allow my children to help decide where they want to go to High School. My youngest child has already decided that next year, he wants to attend GR. I agree whole heartedly.
