I STRONGLY DIASGREE with the 2011 review and 2004 reviews by parents. West is a good school and if you think that the student population is big, take a look at Hart Middle School, they had 1,145 school students attending! West only has 880! All of the teachers are really helpful! They are helping kids get smarter and get more creative! This is THE RIGHT REVIEW of West because I am a student here! There are tons of intermural and programs you can do and there is no bullying! Almost all students are respectful to the teachers! West is a very good school and I would recomend anyone who is looking for their kids to attend middle school in Rochester Hills or in other places! We welcome you!
Great school, very helpful for children with learning disabilities.
This school has seen a large increase in population recently. Adjustments need to be made to better handle the larger numbers. The principal & asst. principal are very visible and trying to help. Academic support services are good but you have to be diligent. Strong booster groups. Wish teachers would remember they are role models and not just graduates with jobs.
