I agree with almost evrything said, my children go to Chapman and the teachers are fantastic. However that being said the principle is not one for consequences and disipline and therefore the rest of our children suffer. They call it Love and Logic, but the logical thing is disipline and removal if a child refuses to follow the rules. The buses are a nightmare and I have had to drive my kids because of the chaos.

I my daughter is has an IEP and a new special education teacher. Things are a lot better this year for my daughter. She never wanted to go last year and now she looks forward to school.

The Principal has no control over the discipline problem within the school and will not allow the teachers and/or Staff to discipline any problem children. That is why I took my children out of Chapman. The teachers are great but have no backing from administration. The administration (the principle) will not back her staff on any disciplinary actions they may take to provide a safe learning enviroment for our children. Sad....

The learning envrionment is an awesome one. I am please with the education my children are receiving. Unfortunately, that cannot be said about the discipline at this school. There is nothing consistent there. The children who continually break the rules are not consistently dealt with. Makes it difficult for the children who do follow the rules.
