The school has turned around in the last year! The students have a new sense of pride and most are thinking about their post secondary options. The graduating class earned over $ 2 million dollars in scholarship money. They even made AYP this past school year! But they definitely need more parents to get involve to help out.

This school is horrible, horrible, horrible. There is not very much diversity. A third of the school are caucasians, and the rest are african americans. The discipline from the teachers is herendous! The classrooms get out of control according to my daugher, and some of the teachers don't know how to handle the students! People get out their I-Pods, and cameras in class and do whatever they feel like. If I were you, I would not send your child to this school.

Many times parents at RHS are the problem, not the students! Not MY daughter, Not MY son, seems to be the song sung by many parents when discipline is administered! Students at RHS are great kids! As in any school there are some poor teachers, but overall RHS teachers are encouraging and top rate. They help struggling students and challenge higher academic students. Extra curricular activities are available to all students! There is even after school busing for students staying for tutoring etc. The diversity at RHS prepares students for the Real World. Visit RHS any time. Walk the halls. Have a great lunch in the Eagles Nest. And if you missed the Drama Club production of Cinderella you missed seeing devoted and talented students at their best.

this is a very poor discplicined school for children! The teachers do not care about the education of our children they are just there for the paycheck! My daughter has been a straight A student for years and she got to this high school and failed every class due to the distruptions in the class itself and the poor teaching ability to keep the children under control while teaching. Im not happy at all with this school and we are moving her asap!

Very poor discipline. School seems to be more concerned with the under achieving students rather than excelling students.

I graduated frm Romulus in June of 2009. Compared to other schools in this area in towns such as Inkster and Belleville especially compared to DPS, Romulus Senior High School should get the highest rating. I know these kids. We don't have metal detectors here, we're not getting frisked and treated like prisoners. They keep the school nice and clean, some teachers maintain friendships with students and parents alike. There is no uniform policy, and let's not forget the Eagles' Nest; the school restaurant ran by the Culinary class at Romulus. There's also co-op options, clubs, groups& teams to join. There are some kids that are disrespectful or fight (blame the parents and the student), there are some kids who don't care, but there is not a teacher in that school who doesn't care about the students' best interests. The Parents& students need to take initiative.

I for one admire the school-staff @ Romulus High. They come very highly recommended and they are a great help with our children in the Romulus community. There will always be some bad apples in the bunch, but as a whole Romulus High is a great school,. I have had two daughters graduate from there, and maybe they weren't in the top of there classes but they did excel and I also have a child there now who is having some dificulties, but under her circumstances she's doing great...could be doing better but the staff has alway been a great help, especially her Volley-ball Coach. I would just like to commend each and every one of the Staff there and say thank you so very much for taking such a vital role in 'my' child's life. Yours, E. Watkins.

RHS is a horriable place because there are nothing but fights there! Many of them don't even care they just go because their parents force them to go. I go to RHS and i really don't like it at all! I try to study but i am rudely interrupted by my classmates that do not take their education as serious as it ought to be. IYou can go trough life just doning have the work and then coming up with excuses and saying sorry. I this world now a days you have to have a high deploma to work at McDonald's. I am a 10th Grader at RHS and I hate it. And race is another big issue there.

I am a parent of a sophmore at Romulus High c/o 2011. I have to admit that although, some of the students are trouble, more of them are on the right track. I love the enthuiasm of some of the teachers, but the administration needs to be revitalized. They act as if the students are a burden, rather than the reason they are there. They don't really encourage parental envolvement. I felt like it was discouraged. The counselors need to be more active in getting out the word on college information. The kids don't get the info if they don't go to the guadiance office. My child is doing well, but maybe it's because she desires it and not because she is being encouraged to do so. Like all places they have good and bad and it's up to your child to decide which road they want to travel.

I am a junior at Romulus High School and I do agree that the students are somewhat segreagated but its mostly by choice not by force. Its really quite sad because the kids here could end up losing out on a potential friendship with people that are not in their clique. The teachers really do care; its just students who like to have their way. But you're not an adult, you can't have your way. I have a 2.4 G.P.A, I try as hard as I can to make the grades I make and no matter what, I remain a C average student.
