I don't like the teacher that my son was moved to in Feburary after being with a teacher that he loved and make him love to learn, to a teacher that is mean. I have left many messages and she never call back, I just gave up. They should get rid of teacher that don't like there job, and stop taking it out on our kids. The principle is great with the kids.
I am not impressed with Halecreek Elem. School, i have 2 children there and if your child is special needs the teachers or the principal will not do anything to help them. My fifth graders teacher is very mean and she grades very hard and she does not let the children go to the bathroom. They dont even take the kids on field trips.....my rating is 1.5 stars
If you have a child with special need i would not have your kid go to this school. My son has aspergers,ADHD,ODD to name a few and this school did nothing to help him. Ms West was the worst principal i have ever meet. I moved out of Romulus so my kid could get a better education and i advise anyone moving to romulus dont do it.
i love hale creek elemenary school.. the teacher are great... and ms. west is the best..
The teachers and staff at Halecreek are excellent. The new principle is great and truly cares about the students/teachers/and school. My son attended a charter school last year and is doing better at Halecreek which is a Romulus public school.
I myself am a Halecreek Alum... I was thrilled to see Ms. Kelly Knight awarded the Princapal Position, and sad to hear she was leaving... nontheless Halecreek was, and still is one of the best learning facilities in the state. The parent envolvement makes all of the school functions a blast for kids and community members aswell. The partnership between Halecreek and the Romulus Parks and Recreations Department make for some great after school and summer programs.
I enjoy sending my kids to Halecreek Ele. I feel that it is a safe place for them, with responsible staff. They are able to teach each child at their own level, and show genuine care for all students, even those in other classes.
I find that the teachers are good with my kids. They try very hard to work with each student at their level. They see my children as people, not just students.
I myself went to this school. I am very glad to see some of the same staff, they were great then and are still great. The school also has a lot of parent volunteers.
This school and its staff have been wonderful for my children. The staff does their best to make the school, a safe , happy learning environment.
