Kelly, in the office, is very helpful and does more than anyone in that school. She talks to the parents, helps the children, addresses and finds solutions to issues, and always has a smile and a high level of professionalism.
No homework and no extra credit given.
Either the teachers don't want to "teach" anymore or the state that runs the school wants to indoctrinate our children to forget their history, and become mindless drones.
Maybe a bit of both?
The school doesn't developed respect in its students. They would first have to have it to show the students, or demand it by follow through of disciplinary actions and maintaining a level of professionalism.
My student is a nameless face among many here. If he were not a special education student he would not get the attention to pass his classes. The community here is rough on the kids as far as peers go. Immoral conduct is rampant in this school. The dress code for girls is not enforced and is very distracting. They need uniforms at this age to keep things covered. The school disagrees but the girls are advertising something they should not be.
My grandson's school is Eastland Middle. The teachers are very professional and personable with students and parents. The school work is challenging and the standards are very high. It is the best school for my grandson, Anthony Crew.
Coming from a student who went to this school for 7th and 8th grade, I can honestly say that this school is the best! The teachers are great because they really take the time to get to know there students and don't mind offering extra help to the kids who need it. Not to mention, they really know how to make learning fun! I also love how the school has a strict "No Bullying" policy. The only flaw are the principals, who think that handing out detentions/suspensions is the immediate solution to everything. Other then that, this school is awesome! <3
Roseville Middle School carries excellent programs that involve many kids into the middle school setting. I love the fact that they do not tolerate bullying! They have a peace circle program set up to teach kids how to communicate with their peers and adults rather than just handing out suspensions. Very innovative!
