My son attended Rudyard Middle School and High School. Several faculty members provided kind and very helpful encouragement. The general academic standards are not exceptional, but there is opportunity for a motivated student to excel. The drama program was great.
First the positives 1) small student to teacher ratios 2)variety of extracurricular activities. Negatives 1)discipline policy and procedures 2)academic performance is low for many students due to discipline procedures excessive suspensions.
I am not a parent, but I went to Rudyard from the 8th grade to the 11th grade. It was the best school I had ever went to. Nothing can compare to this school that I've have seen.
