I have two children at Zilwaukee. I am very pleased with the education they are receiving. The teachers go out of their way to help the students. My son has diabetes and the teachers make sure I am aware of how he is doing. I can honestly say that I can leave him and not have to worry. I like the idea that it is a K-8 grade school the kids feel comfortable and can establish long friendships. I only wish there was a high school in Zilwaukee.

My child has went to Zilwaukee since Kindergarten and has had a great experience. The teachers are wonderful and since it is a Pre-K thru 8th grade school, the kids stay together for a long time. (The downfall is where they go after 8th grade, most of the kids split to various different High Schools by parent/student choice.) There is a lot of parent involvement and the staff are very welcoming of parental involvement and concerns. All of my child's teachers have been extremely helpful when any situation has come up (academic or social). They have a great before & after school program that is essential for us working parents. It is a small town school & atmosphere with the benefits of being part of a large district.
