This is a great school for your child to feel like they are a part of the entire student body. They are able to be involved in many activities including athletics, school operettas, band, piano, choir, etc. The athletics program offers to any student the ability to try the sport, where at any other school they would not even think about trying it. The academics is very competitive and is always the overriding influence for all students. They are always driven by teachers, coaches, and other students to excel and do the best they can. The student body is a small and this leads to care and concern by all students from the older students to younger students - they all know each other and help each other. The students also learn about Christ at an early age an d is part of their everyday school environment.

Immanuel provides an outstanding atmosphere for the kids. The teachers know the kids and the parents. Open communication between the teachers and parents is a welcome. The school provides a wide range of activities for the students. The kids that leave Immanuel are outstanding- socially, emotionally, and academically!

Immanuel is a very Christ centered atmosphere for the kids. The kids are close and take care of each other. The parents are very involved with the scholastics as well as the extra-curricular activities. The music program is very impressive also.

In 2012-2013 Michigan used the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading and writing; in grades 5 and 8 in science; and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies. The MEAP is a standards-based test, which measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Michigan. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, the Michigan State Board of Education implemented new definitions of what it means to be proficient on the MEAP test. The new standards for proficiency are higher than in previous years and the percent of students earning a proficient score is expected to be lower as a result of this change.
