What else can a parent ask for in a school. The teachers are outstanding. The office staff is outstanding. I am a parent that went through the RV school system from k-12, This is my second child to experience the RV school system. I think this facility is the jewel of the entire district. Sadly the accomplishments here go un-noticed due to its location in the north district. I cannot heap enough praise on this building and the staff that call it home.
Chikaming Elementary is a small rural school with some of the most highly educated staff around. My son's classroom is themed, and an emphasis is put on creating a 'school home' atomosphere. Teachers at Chikaming set the bar high, work hard with the students, and watch them excell! The caring atmosphere helps overshadow what the aging facilities lack. If you are looking to prepare your child to compete globally, this is the place to go!
