Tobey Elementary School

We have had two boys through Tobey and will gladly say that the experience was not short of perfect. They "Yearn to Learn" as the Tobey Way states. They are respectful because they were taught to be. They want to pursue careers that help others becuase they heard that on a daily basis at Tobey. Tobey is the best choice of elementary schools.

How do I express to someone searching for schools what a gem they will find in Tobey? I knew it was a special school, but had no idea to what extent until we moved. The education received at Tobey far exceeds the state standards. The reading program is done to perfection and NOT at the expense of any other subjects. Just as impressive as the education is how students learn what makes a good citizen in a community. It may not be a religious school, but they learned more kindness and compassion at Tobey than they did from the parochial (pricey) school I ultimately pulled them from last spring. The Tobey Way could easily be a mantra for life. It may not be a flashy new bldg w/ smart boards and laptops for everyone, but inside you will find the best, most dedicated principal, teachers and staff and that will far outweigh anything you think money can buy.
