Our daughter attends South Boardman and we are very happy with the Forest Area District. Our daughter loves school, is always treated kindly, and she is learning an unbelievable amount. We are impressed with the reading program and the parent communication.
My children have adjusted well. They love the art teacher she really makes projects come alive. I have one child that use to hate gym class and, now it's his favorite part of school. There is a lot of parents that attend field trips and are willing to help out in the school. It seems that Forest Area schools strive to be more like a family than a school. We are happy with our choice to send our kids to Forest Area schools.
South Boardman Elementary is a fantastic school. My daughters teachers seem very well educated and are just amazing. After just a week, everyone just knew who I was and knew the girls by name. When the Language Arts night was postponed, the principal called us herself to let us know. I am so very impressed with the school and all of the staff members.
Great early education program.
