This school does a great job at actually making students learn successfully. The ABC-I program which this school is following is genius, and many other schools should follow Davidson's example! The discipline here is great, and the rules are very strict, making it even better! This school however, is not a very safe learning environment. Police Officers show up at Davidson all the time, and the freshman, especially, are the ones causing the problems. Other than that, the education here is great, and the Math classes are wonderful!

I find that there is too little discipline and accountability nowadays for students, teachers and parents. First of all, the teachers must align themselves on the same side as the parents to be co-workers. Otherwise, the student recognizes no support system. Secondly, the principal must take his/her place in supporting her staff in whatever way possible so as to avoid listening only to the child's voice. Again, for a united front to be seen by our children. I understand there are times when the teacher is wrong. I understand the parent can be wrong too.

As a parent, I am proud and grateful that my children have the opportunity to attend Davidson. Not only are the administrators approachable and friendly, but the teachers are excellent, and go far beyond the call of duty. No child would want for anything at this school -they truly care, and are committed to providing their students with the most comprehensive education, as well as doing it in a fun and stimulating environment

My daughter attended Davidson M.S. and she had an excellent experience. She was a slow student but she worked hard. She received excellent help from the teachers. I am happy to say that she is now in college. Thank you Davidson.

I attended this school, and have horrible allergies. They constantly brought their dogs into school, and one day when I had a bad allergic reaction to the dogs they believed that I was 'faking' the allergic reaction and wouldn't let me call home to get my allergy medicine.

This school I believe could use a lot of improvement. The pricipal seems to think that she rules just about everyone and everything. She even brings her dog to school. Mt son has asthma and I do not think dogs belong at school and the super will do nothing about it. My sons academically really fell while they were at this school and they seemed to watch a lot of movies. Not edeucational but hollywood. Who is teaching these kids teachers or Hollywood?
