Teachers do not focus on the success of their students. I feel that they just view it as a job and do not care about the students being successful. Not very effective with kids when they don't care about their success.
My children have attended CMA starting in preschool. The staff has done an outstanding job preparing them for the next grade academically and helping them to learn life skills to be successful. Choosing CMA for a Montessori education for our children has been a great decision for our family!
My child has been with CMA since Preschool. We loved the Preschool, but our troubles started off in kindergarten. Never in my life have I seen so many children (kindergartners) be suspended from school. Some were sent home on a regular basis depending on the teacher and the aide's mood. Now we are in 1st grade and our teacher has left. Teachers and aides don't seem happy with the headmasters or the board. I really hope things turn around, we have dealt with the rude, uncaring headmasters. (They really need to learn customer service and problem resolution) We have made it through the horrid parking lot issues. But someone needs to step in and help these teachers and monitor them so that we know the kids are receiving the help they need and the teachers are not being overwhelmed.
great school.i have three kids in this school, my kids are really learning and very happy. all the staff is very friendly and helpful. principal is always involve and available to help. teachers are experienced and sincere to their work. my kids are not only growing academically but also they are learning respect, cooperation, sharing. i really recommend this school.
School is okay and curriculum is advanced. The only issue I really had was the music teacher treated my special needs child poorly. Otherwise the rest of the staff is all pretty friendly and willing to work with special needs.
The school has no consideration for children much less the parents. No matter how you voice your opinion they don't care they pretend to care. If your child is too much for them to handle in their already oversized classes they want them checked for ADHD. The staff is lazy the headmaster doesn't truly care about the school or anything that goes on. Don't let your child forget lose or the staff misplace lunch forms they preorder or your child won't eat, better pack a cold lunch for a month. Field trips you must transport your own and other kids. They love to have fundraisers have you purchase field day concert and non educating tshirts but won't consider a child at heart. It's hit and miss on the good teachers but definitely a horrible school ethic. So many people have left that school and so many complaints they should get it together and partner up with parents. Big waste of time and tons of anxiety for myself and children that will no longer attend
