We left Public School in the middle of my sons' Kindergarten year for a better life and found it here! Now in Second grade, SIJ is amazing! Superior education given on a moral foundation, one on one attention, Small class size with learning adjusted for each child's needs, Safe environment with caring professionals, great sports & extra curricular activities, fabulous parental involvement. From the office staff, down to EVERY teacher and aid, the school is very conscious as to each child's health or developmental concerns. Once you attend, you become part of a extended family like community that words can not explain completely. The school and parish, work together with you, to develop your child into a well rounded citizen. So much offered there is something for everyone Advanced Technologies, Advanced Academics, Foreign Language, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chess, Young Rembrandt's, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Bowling, Golf, Gardening club, Alter Servers, Parents Club, Men's Club, PTO, Festival Committee, Latchkey, Preschool... the list goes on. I have nothing bad to say or criticize.

My daughter has been at SIJ since 3 year old preschool, and we absolutely love it! The teachers are wonderful, and it is truly our second family. Everyone nows each other, and is more than willing to help one another out. Throughout all of my years in education, I have never seen such an enthusiastic school spirit! Great academics, great sports teams, and lots of extracurricular activities. I cannot give them a high enough recommendation.

I've been very happy with this school. My children transferred in the middle of the year and have been welcomed with open arms by staff and students. The education is far superior to what they received in the public school and this private school really seems to be the best in the area.

St. Isaac's is a wonderful school. The decision to move to St. Isaac's from the public school has been one of our best decisions as a family. From an educational standpoint, I know our children are receiving the best education combined with the values we support. We wanted a community atmosphere and have not been dissapointed. The parents are involved and it enriches our experience. Come join us.

My husband and I are so happy with SIJ. The teachers are top notch, the students get a great education in a caring atmosphere. The principal and the pastor are very involved with the students and the teachers. Parents here want to be involved in their child's education and it shows. We are so happy that we pulled our children out of public school and brought them here.

This school is amazing. My 2 sons went to St. Isaac Jogues. The teachers prepare the students for high school and even college. The principal is a hard worker and is an amazing man. The teaching staff is great. They have extracurricular activities such as sports. They provide latchkey and a full serving hot lunch program. I highly reccomend St. Issac Jogues school.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
