YES! The entire administration including teachers, secretaries, counselors, support staff--they all care and are compassionate, and this extends to the student body.

Develops honesty: Strongly agree

The principal at St. Clair High School has the perfect balance when dealing with students. If they have made a poor choice in their actions, he talks with them about it; the student takes responsibility for it and is disciplined appropriately, but in a way that the student is not made to feel like his life is over. The student is not belittled, but encouraged to learn from their poor choice.

St. Clair High School teachers and staff are there for the success of the students. They offer guidance and support both academically and socially to help the students grow into independent learners, ready to take the next steps after graduation.. Several AP classes are offered, and these classes not only challenge the student, but help prepare them for a successful start at college. Some of the AP teachers even provide weekend workshops to help prepare the students for their AP test at the end of the year. School spirit and a sense of community are very apparent when you walk into SCHS. The very active student council provides activities and spirit assemblies on a very regular basis which unites the classes in some fun competition. The athletic program is very impressive, and the band and theatre programs are top-notch! I feel very thankful for everyone at SCHS that has encouraged and helped my daughters become kind, independent, and intelligent young adults.

St.Clair High School has done a great job in providing my daughter with choices in the more advanced classes, as well as challenging teachers to help her grow and to prepare her for college, some she will never forget! The school has high quality in both girls and boys sports. Some schools place a higher value on the boys sports, I don't feel that this is true at St. Clair. They have a great performing arts theater built in the last 4 years. Parental involvement is encouraged, there could always be more involvement.
