I feel that Tawas Area Schools are very knowledgeable about problems with our youth today. I read a comment on discipline and counselors not being helpful. I am pleased with my childs ability to communicate with all the staff at Tawas City Elementary. I think the biggest problem for the school is that there are not enough parents who actually parent and only rely on the school to educate the children. Parents you are your childs number one, first and formost teacher in this world! You chose to give life then educate yourself to be the best teacher and parent you can be. Be a great role model for your child and his/or her friends. Don't Blame the school, their hands can be tied if you do not do your part as being an active parent! Get involved in the school to make changes you are unhappy with! Loving Parents!
