Excellent teachers and community feel. We sent our kids to a private school for their pre-primary education, but couldn't have been happier with their experience at HP thus far. The classes are differentiated which has helped our daughter excel at her own pace. HP has many extracurricular opportunities like Math Pentathalon - trust that you've never seen kids so excited about math! This year they will have a before/after school YMCA program, which is a huge bonus to ouir family.

We had a difficult year the first year we attended Herrick Park. Our experience since then has been vastly different. After deciding to be proactive about our experience, we contacted the school and the district for support. Since then, we were given many opportunities to help our child work with a learning disability. Without retaining our child, he has become a high achieving student and has had two wonderfully supportive teachers. Tthe school as a whole has been a strong learning environment. The principal is involved and caring, most of the teachers see the children as individuals, and there is great parental involvement.
