I personally am currently attending Bedford Junior High and I believe that it and other Bedford schools have well mannered staff members and teachers, so think about taking your child here. Trust me you wont regret it. - Zack Kominek

I'm an 8th grader attending Bedford Junior High, as the year comes to an end I have noticed well one, that our school is honestly a great school. No it's not the best but, I can say that I've learned a lot from these two years in the junior high. It's astonishing. If you want a school with support, team spirit, then Bedford is the choice. Yes we have bullies and yes we have drama but honestly, what school will not have that? The staff does their best to diminish all of it, and I think they do pretttttyy good at it.

Not the best school in the world...But not the worst. There are bullies & when you go to the office (counselors) for help all they want to do is sit there. The secretaries are all useless. A much better choice would be mason jr. High/whiteford, etc. Bottom line...Send them somewhere else!!!

I think BJHS is a great school. I think my son has had an excellent education provided to him. I believe that discipline is handled well and believe discipline begins at home. The teachers are professional and approachable. My child has never gone to a teacher with a problem or question and been turned away. I think possibly that if parents were more involved with their children's education they would have a more positive attitude about the system.

First off, I am a 7th grader here, and I think the school is wonderful! Not the best. All of my teachers are great, and I hear good things about the other teachers. Our principal is great, and we have wonderful band, orchestra, and choir programs, and almost all of our sports teams are undefeated. The afterschool activities are awesome, and there are so may offered. Even a board game club! We don't have a whole bunch of parent involvement, but it's Jr. High, what do you expect? I think that BJHS is great!

This is the worst school I have ever sent my daughter to. The only thing they promote is failing kids and give no options, or solutions to help kids failing. The act scores that were taken clearly proves how kids are not learning, not even the basics. The shcool is unruly, in turn the kids are out of control which leads to failing grades.

Too much emphasis on disiplinary action and not enough focus on academics. Non-progressive, old-school approach to discipline that diminishes trust between student/ teacher and drains student motivation.

The only PROBLEM I have with this school and the staff is their handling of bullies. But the students (who are not bullies) are great to be around and the teachers are good as well.
