I can't say enough about the caring staff at this school. The principal is the best I have ever encountered. Rain, shine, or snow that man stands outside the front door every morning and afternoon to make sure all students get where they are going and are not left without an adult. The staff and teachers at each grade level are highly focused and caring of all situations. My entire family attended parochial schools and I had not been involved with public schools. This particular school should be modeled everywhere !!!!

I definitely love the school from the principal, to all of my son's teachers, the office staff, volunteers and everyone who makes this such a great place. My 4th grader has been here since K and just loves school thanks to everyone there. People who work with our children should be those who are dedicated and actually want to teach or work with kids. I've had a few bad teachers in my past and know what a difference these teachers can make!

My daughter currently attends Hedke and she truly enjoys going everyday. I have had an opportunity to assist in the classroom and the teacher/student interaction is wonderful. All of the staff that I have encountered are great - I am very happy wiht this school and would recommend it to anyone.

From the Teachers to the Principal to the Staff that help out..........you cant put in to words how awesome they really are! They really care about each and every child there!

I have the opportunity to be in all of the elementary schools in Trenton. However, I must say that in every aspect, Hedke 'has the edge'! There is a different spirit about the school. I truly enjoy watching the children and the teachers interacting. They seem to enjoy each other and respect each other at the same time. I am very troubled that the bond didn't pass. I believe that too many people in this city choose not to deal with reality! That is a very unfortunate thing for all of our children at this time. I only can pray that things will change, and very soon. These kids are our future! Let's wake up Trenton! We need to take a stand.
